An uninhabited island and a room in a high-rise apartment: although the two characters named Kim in Castaway on the Moon face different circumstances, their isolated ways of living closely resemble each other. This project focuses on the bridge as a mediating element that connects these two realities. By reinterpreting the bridge as an architectural device linking contrasting spaces, the project proposes a framework to reconnect fragmented urban spaces in contemporary Seoul and foster possibilities for communication between isolated environments.
